Alexa Flutie is a photographer, professional model, and dancer. She is the daughter of American former football quarterback Dough Flutie. She was named head coach of the Florida Tech cheerleading and dance program in 2015. She was a hip-hop dance choreographer and the cheerleading coach at Tri-County High School in Franklin. Alexa is involved in the Doug Flutie Jr Foundation fundraisers like golf tournaments and bowling tournaments that raise money and create awareness about autism.

Alexa Flutie grew up in Natick Mass but had to move around due to her father’s career and has lived in Canada, Buffalo, and San Diego. She is the sibling to Dougie Jr. Dougie inspired his family to begin the Doug Flutie Jr Foundation to support other families dealing with kids with autism like him. Her father Flutie created the Flutie Flakes cereals and directed the benefits towards the foundation.
She graduated from Dean College’s Palladino School of Dance in 2010 with a degree in dance. She was in the cheering squad of the San Diego Chargers and the Charger Girls. Alexa aspires to be on stage with artists like Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson. Her boyfriend plays football in Canada. She enjoys surfing, being at the beach and jet skiing in her family beach house in Melbourne Beach. Alexa receives so much support from her family in her cheerleading profession and the family is always present for her games.
Alexa Flutie’s Father Doug Flutie
Douglas Richard Flutie is an American former professional football quarterback for 21 seasons. He played professionally in one season in the United States Football League, 12 seasons in the NATIONAL Football League, and 8 seasons in the Canadian Football League. He played for the Boston College Eagles college football and won the Heisman Trophy in 1984.
His career began professionally with the USFL’s New Jersey Generals and was selected in the lowest drafting of a Heisman winner due to his unavailability. He joined Chicago Beras and the New England Patriots for the first four NFL seasons. He left the NFL in 1990 and joined CFL where he left a record of one of the best players. He won three Grey Cups and was named CFL’s Most Outstanding Player six times.
Flutie returned in 1998 to the NFL with the Buffalo Bills and was awarded NFL Comeback Player of the Year and Pro Bowl. He was the last quarterback in the next 17 years to bring the Bills to the postseason. He was the oldest NFL player to score two touchdowns in a game. In 2007 he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame and the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 2008. He was the first non-Canadian to be inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame in 2008.
He left a record of being the only player to pass 6,000+ yards in a season twice throughout his career. he won the WWE 24/7 Championship from R-Truth during a celebrity flag football tournament in 2021. He married his high school girlfriend Laurie and has two children Alexa and Doug Jr. On November 2015, his father who was ill and hospitalized died and unfortunately, an hour later, her mother Joan died from a heart attack.
