Dakota Johnson is romantically involved with many artists such as musician Noah Gersh and actor Jordan Masterson. She also had a relationship with Matthew Hitt – the vocalist and pianist of the rock band Drowners. In 2017, she started getting involved with Coldplay musician and the band’s lead singer Chris Martin.
Early Life
Dakota Mayi Johnson was born on 4th October 1989 in Austin – Texas. Unfortunately, not much is known about Dakota’s parents, but what is known is that both of her parents act. Her father, Don Johnson, starred in the show “Miami Vice” as James Crockett in the eighties.

Dakota Johnson parents are divorced and her maternal grandfather and grandmother were both actors. Once, Antonio Banderas was Dakota’s stepfather. She also has six stepsiblings, which make her half-siblings, two from her mother’s side and four on her father’s side.
Dakota was also born into the industry and was nurtured in different sets by her parents and as they worked different roles for different films, her parents moved from one set to another. She was never quite able to settle down either long term so it gave her a feeling of instability.
During the show, Dakota confessed that she had problems with depression that began seven years ago when she was 14; in 2007, she had to quit filming and went to rehab.
Career
Johnson started off her professional career in the modeling industry. Her desire for modeling started at the age of 12 years and has done a shoot with other kids on the ‘Teen Vogue’ magazine. Her parents’ demand was to complete high school before she tried to make a living as an actress, despite the fact that Dakota wanted to become an actress even as a child.
Despite being rejected by the Juilliard School as she wanted to pursue acting after she completed her high school education she did not give up on her dreams. Johnson’s first movie was in 1999 when she featured in Crazy in Alabama which was directed by her step father Antonio Banderas.
Dakota became a part of IMG Models, and then she actively pursued a modeling career. This lingerie beauty has posed for MANGO jeans but this was after she had tasted a different kind of ad success as an actress. In addition to her modeling, Johnson also signed her modeling contract that year.
Real Estate
Dakota Johnson bought a house in Hollywood Hills in the year 2016 at $ 3. 55 million. Like all other structures located close to other avowed mansions belonging to other celebrities it was constructed in 1947 by one Carl Maston. Johnson bought the house in 2008 and has remodeled sections of the 4000 square-feet four-bedroom house that contains a lap pool.
