Its sleek appearance complements our other appliances beautifully, adding a nice aesthetic to our home.
User-Friendly Interface
The touchscreen is super easy to use! You select what temperature you want at the top, and the amount of water along the right. You can also customize it using the + and – icons!
One of the standout features of the CovePure CP-16 is its intuitive touch screen panel. Even though I’m not particularly tech-savvy, I found it incredibly easy to navigate. The panel allows us to customize both the temperature and amount of water dispensed, which has been a huge convenience for our family. Whether I need hot water for tea or cold water for a refreshing drink, it’s all just a touch away.
Temperature and Dispensing Options
The dispense icon turns red when dispensing hot & warm water, and blue when dispensing cold/room temp water – pretty neat!
The ability to dispense hot water instantly has been very useful in our busy mornings. I don’t know how they do it, but CovePure heats water to boiling point within seconds, eliminating the need to wait for a kettle to boil. This feature is perfect for making tea or preparing instant oatmeal quickly. Additionally, the machine offers customizable temperature settings, allowing us to choose between cold, room temperature, or hot water – or anything in between. There’s even a warm setting that’s ideal for preparing baby formula.
Our “custom” size is set to 10 ozs!
Now, every household has different cup sizes – no one size fits all! So another feature we love is the option to preset a custom amount of water that’s tailored to our cup sizes (we’ve set ours to 10ozs). This means no more overflowing cups or having to stand in front of the machine to manually stop it from pouring. I can step away for a bit to do some chores, and then return to my perfectly filled cup!
Water Quality and Filtration
As you can see from the picture above, our tap water is at a whopping 375 TDS! And the machine also shows you the TDS of your purified water!
While the machine comes with amazing bells and whistles, the primary reason we chose the CovePure was its promise of delivering clean and safe drinking water. Although I don’t fully understand how the filtration system works, I can attest that it does work – as evidenced by the significant reduction in Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) displayed on-screen.
From my understanding, the machine filters water in 4 stages (please forgive my rudimentary explanation!):
The first stage, which is a PP filter, removes large particles like hair, sediment, etc. Then, it goes through a carbon filter which gets rid of nasty odors and tastes caused by VOCs and pesticides. After that, there’s a reverse osmosis filter which removes all the most harmful contaminants you definitely don’t want to ingest! Like forever chemicals, lead, and arsenic. Once all that water is purified, there’s an alkaline filter that puts the finishing touches and adds beneficial minerals back into the water and balances your water so it’s a healthy pH between 7.5-8.
This comprehensive filtration process ensures that my family is drinking safe and healthy water every day. The taste difference is noticeable – one of my kids even commented on how our water “tastes just like the water at grandma and grandpa’s house” (who coincidentally were the ones who put me onto CovePure!) And it’s encouraged me and my husband to drink more throughout the day.
Convenience Features

The CovePure machine also comes with a removable pitcher, which has proven incredibly useful during family meals. We can just take it out of the machine and bring it to the table, reducing trips back and forth to the dispenser.
